Hey Beautiful People

 Today we are looking at a review of a Australian company Femme Fatale! I have done reviews of Femme Fatale eye shadows previously but not their blushes so here we go!

Femme Fatale ship world wide and shipping is fairly on par with most international shipping however ALL international shipping has increased over the last few months so please keep that in mind!
Pricing for Femme Fatale shades is very affordable for a sample baggie you get 1/8 tspn for $1.10 AUD and a Full Size 10g jar with sifter is  $8.25 AUD (though trush me the baggie will last you AGES if oyu want to try out a bunch of shades) This Blush is finely milled and apples easily to the skin .

One of the things I do first off when purchasing from a company is to look for a ingredients list and Femme Fatale do not disappoint each listing has a separate list below is Rebel's
INGREDIENTS: Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Iron Oxide (77491), Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide (778161), Manganese Violet (Pigment Violet #16).

The jar also has a list on its label so bonus points there. For any Vegans out there is beautiful pink blush IS a vegan shade. Rebel besides being a blush is also Eye and lip safe making it a very diverse shade.

Femme Fatale also have a few recommendations for their products
  • Keep well sealed in cool environment
  • 1 year shelf life
  • To avoid bacterial contamination do not share FFC products with other people.

  •  I chose to do 2 swatches one over bare skin and another over Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy just in case you wanted to see what it looked like as a shadow. Femme Fatale Chroma Glow Blushes as the name suggests do have a slight 'glow' like duo-chrome effect and for those of us cursed with oily skin this MAY not be the best as it dost leave a sheen on the skin if applied to heavily however if applied with a light hand its not as noticeable.

    Now onto colour descriptions

    Colour Description
    Femme Fatale Description - Rebel is a loose mineral based blush. It is a muted thulian pink duochrome shade with violet sparkles. Rebel is a soft and lightweight blush of which the colour can be built up to your liking
    My Description - A Soft pink shade with a slight violet duo-chrome buildable

    Would I repurchase this again? Probably not as I mentioned above on the cheeks I personally have found with my oily skin it doesn't looks as flattering as I would like especially after a few hours when my natural oils manage to peak through. However as a eyeshadow/lip colour it is STUNNING

    Whats you favourite blush colour?

    Final thoughts: This is a very flattering Pink shade I feel this would work well on most  skin tone, This shade dose have a shimmer effect so it MAY not be great for those with super oily skin. It is build able on the skin and works great as a eye shadow or mixedwith clear gloss for a pretty pout.

    A Review - Milani Eye Tech Extreme Liquid liner in Black

    Hey Beautiful People

    Look like I have been Liner searching ;) as most people I am in search of my holy grail items! At the moment I am searching for the PERFECT liquid liner! I asked on my Facebook page a while ago what everyones fave was and a LOT of you said the Milani Eye Tech as most of you would know I live in Australia so we don't have Milani sadly but never fear eBay is a friend to all. I went on line and picked this little jem up for about $10 including shipping not to bad. On  Milani's web page its around $7.50 USD to buy.

    The liner packaging itself is very sturdy made of shiny black plastic with the lettering in gold. I love how they added a 'grip' section close to the tip so that your fingers don't slide away. The tip is fantastic its sturdy and flexible which often doesn't go together. The tip allows for different withs you can make you line super fine or thick depending on the pressure and angle you use!

    As for the liquid liner itself the formula is nice it dries quickly so you don't get that painful smudge. Its not as Opaque as I though it would be to become really black I have to go over it a
    couple of times. The formula isn't patchy it applies evenly on bare skin (no primer) it DOSE seem to bleed a little however I haven't experienced that on the lid at all.

    Over all while this ISN'T my holy grail liner it is still a great liner it can be used for many looks as you can customise the tip. The liner seems to be like a pack of everlasting Tim Tams (my aussie readers know what I am talking about) I have been using this pretty much everyday since I got it over 2 months ago and there are NO signs of it drying up YAY.

    \

    Big question time would I repurchase? I will/am repurchasing this liner its super easy to work with and its very affordable!

    Whats YOUR holy grail liquid liner?

    Final thoughts: My pros far out weigh the cons with this item. To be honest my only cons are 1 you cant get it easy in australia ;) and 2 its not quite as dark as I imagined when I saw Blackest Black. The pros though boy I could go on and on haha 1. The tip is FANTASTIC east to get right into the inner corner of the lid, 2. once its on its on! and 3. It seems to last FOREVER a never ending liner!!! I will deff recommend this product to anyone and everyone (infact I plan on stalking out the Milani line when I am in the USA ;) but shhh)

    A Review - Manglaze Polish ILF & Mink Mitten

    House Keeping – all products below have been purchased with my own money and I am not in any way shape or form getting paid for this review. All opinions are my own!!!

    Please Click on the photos to see an enlarged picture =)

    Hey Beautiful People

    Lets talk Polish... Well more like MATTE polish if your big into the polish world (or not so much into it) you may or may not have heard about ManGlaze Polish! ManGlaze's slogan is

    The Manliest Matte nail polish known to man!

    All the colours have clearly got a 'man's' twist on them with colours named Butt Taco and Fattys got more blood but today as the tital mentions we are looking at Mink Mitten and ILF.

    The Exert below was taken from the ManGlaze page

    ManGlaze® Original Matte Nail Polish is VEGAN, CRUELTY-FREE (it is NOT tested on animals), Big 3 Toxin FREE (No Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde or Toluene). ManGlaze® is likely made by undocumented extraterrestrial life forms somewhere North of Mexico.
    ©, ® 2012 ManGlaze INK.

    So for all my vegan and cruelty-free concious people you to can use these amazing polishes!!! So lets talk the details hmmm so if you are able to purchase through the ManGlaze web store you can get your polish for $13.13 USD if you buy from Shoppe Eclecticco its going to cost you $18.16 USD. The bottles are all full sized square bottles with 11 ML. 0.37 FL. OZ of product!

    The brushes are well put together with nil shedding that I can see  after I did a wipe test (wiping the brushs clean on paper towel). The Polishes them selves are smooth with no 'chemical smell' to them they do require a few layers to become opaque in the swatches below I did 3 coats of each.

    This is where I may confuse a few of you while Mink Mitten is a ManGlaze shade it is actually metallic. Where compared to ILF which is much more matte it still dose have a SLIGHT satin finish!

    While I do love these shades they staying power isnt fantastic I wore Mink Mitten on my nails with 3 coats and my mani lasted about 1-2 days where as I can normally get 4-5 without any minor chipping. I think if you applied a top coat it would last longer however applying a top coat over a Matte polish... well there isn't much point unless you want a shiny finish in my opinion. If you can purchase from ManGlaze they have some of their own matte topcoats available for purchase.

    I cant personally comment on shipping times and TAT as I was gifted these two shades in a Makeup swap I did.

    Colour Descripton

    ILF
    ManGlaze Description - Turquoise Matte Nail Polish
    My Description - Turqoise with a slight satin finish

    Mink Mitten
    ManGlaze Description - Metallic Plurpleder Matte Nail Polish
    My Description - A Silver Lavender shade with a metallic finish

    Overall I enjoy the polishes I am going to try and get my hands on the white one high school nostalgia anyone? I wonder if it will do the 'whiteout on nails look' that was ohhh so trendy in my high school. My biggest issues is that the shades don't last, however I know mattes arnt known for their staying power.

    What you YOU like to put on your fingers and toes?

    Final thoughts: The shades are fairly opaque for the level of coverage I preferred it took me 3 coats, the brushes are well put together and the artwork on the bottles is great. The biggest let down was the Longevity as these shades only lasted 1-2 days on. however the overall initial effect was amazing.

    A Review - Darling Girl's Rich Gurl shadow

    House Keeping – all products below have been purchased with my own money and I am not in any way shape or form getting paid for this review. All opinions are my own!!!

    Please Click on the photos to see an enlarged picture =)

    Hey Beautiful People

    Today this is a very quick review about one of my new fave colours! Anyone who knows me (and follows me here and on my facebook) would probably have worked out I am obsessed with Greens and Blues! So when Susan of Darling Girl Cosmetics came up with the shade Rich Gurl I KNEW i must be mine!

    Full sizes ($5.90 USD each) are packaged in 5g jars with approximately 3/4 tsp of product. Petits ($2.50 USD each) are packaged in 3g jars with approximately 1/4 tsp of product. Samples are packaged in 2x2 zip lock baggies with approximately 1/8 tsp of product. All jars come with a sealed sifter.

    With the massive increase in International shipping Susan the owner of Darling Girl Cosmetics came up with a great option for us Int girls there is an additional option for all shadows (minus stardusts) to be placed in baggies making shipping costs a whole lot cheaper.When ordering you can however only choose baggies (meaning you cant add on any lippys, primers etc).

    Each DG colour has an individual ingredients list which I love the including whether the shade is lip safe or not below is Rich Gurl's ingredients list.

    Mica, Carnauba Wax, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Silica, Ultramarines, Chromium Oxide Green. NOT Lip Safe.

    This item was posted well within the stated TAT and arrived via int-post within around 2-3 weeks =) Susan includes in every order a Petit exclusive GWP colour they are always interesting shades =)

    This shadow is smooth and applies well to the lid for best results I do recommend a sticky base my personal preference is Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy. This shade is extremely sheer on bare skin a coloured base and or sticky base will bring out the true POP of this shade.

    Colour Description
    Darling Girl Description - She is more than meets the eye, at first glance she is a sky blue but mover her towards a light source and she takes on a kind of periwinkle hue and even in some lights (I find artificial light brings the shift out more) she looks almost a bronze-y shade and put her over a black base and POW a vibrant green comes to life!
    My Description - A Shimmery periwinkle blue with a kelly green shift.

    Whats your favrouite duo-chrome colour?

    Final thoughts: This shade is amazing the duo-chrome shift is very strong! the only low point on this shade is that is IS VERY sheer on bare skin I recommend a coloured and/or sticky base to make this shade POP! item recieved well withing the stated TAT.

     Overall i feel this is quite a cute collection! the colours are all fairly true to the character, I DO feel something is missing but cant put my finger on it... maybe if there was an additional shadow more neutral to tie it all together?

    Final thoughts: Overall I enjoy this collection and while I am a self-confessed glitter addict I feel a green pigment would have helped tie the whole collection together. The glosses really require a smooth primed lip to glide on and not grab at flaky lips in a way remnding me of Matte lipsticks. A Sticky base like DG glitterglue or Fyrinnae PE is deff recommended.

    Hello Beautiful People

    Lets take a look at another MMU company Moi Minerals =) I Bought the M.O.B.S (or Men Of the Big Screen) collection a while ago and FINALLY got around to swatching it for you all!

    So this Collection is avaiable in 3g with 1/4tsp of product ($8.00 USD) or 5g sifter jar with 3/4 tsp ($20.00 USD)

    The Collection has 4 unique colours all named after a well known famous man Olyphant, Cage, Statham and Depp. The Colours are very pigmented over a base on bare skin they do become slightly washed out which is common with loose pigments. There is some glitter in these shades however they are not glitter bombs.

    Moi Minerals is a Canadian based company who will ship world wide, I have ordered through Moi for a while all items are send withing the TAT however shipping from Canada takes a while averaging 4-5 weeks to Australia So if your ordering for a last minute gift keep in mind it DOSE take a little longer. Onto swatches and descriptions.

    Colour Descriptions

    Olyphant
    Moi Description - A lovely teal blue/green with multitone sparks
    My Description - A Blue/green shade with a lighter blue duo

    Cage
    Moi Description - Is loaded with multi shades of color changing sparks over a lovely taupe base.
    My Description - A Champaign taupe with loads of silver holo glitter

    Statham
    Moi Description - Deep pumpkin orange with sparks that shift from red to orange to pink.
    My Description - A Bright orange with a golden duo chrome

    Depp
    Moi Description - Purple/Mauve Loaded with sparks of green & gold.
    My Description - A Berry shade with silver shimmer and green glitter

    Final thoughts:  The Colours are very pigmented and apply smoothly, once swatched look more complex then in the jar. These Pigments need a bast to really make them pop over bare skin they do appear very washed out not showing their sparkle. I did fint that over a white base these shades lost a lot ov shimmer becoming more satin, where as over a black base they shimmered and appeared brighter.

     Hey Ya'll

    Lets take a look a Geek Chic Cosmetics Joy Stick in Hipster Ariel today shall we? great idea ^_^
    OK so lets talk lippys first now I KNOW we ALL own at least one pink,red,orange and nude lippy but not many of us wear bright lippys it seems to be a status quo thing which sucks coz Hipster Ariel is an AMAZING opaque metallic blue lipstick. For being a bold colour Hipster Ariel is not drying on the lip as it has moisturizing Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E in its formula, the Joystick is also mint flavoured which I personally find nice =)

    The overall shape of the joystick isnt ideal for a perfect application in my opinion Hipster ariel is BEST applied with a lip brush (whick i have done in the lip swatches below). If you like Hipster Ariel you can purchase it on the Geek Chic Cosmetics webstore for $5.99 USD.

    Hey Ya'll

    Today we are reviewing Lucky 107 Cosmetics Nightmare Before Christmas collection if you follow my YouTube Channel you may have seen a old review I had done when I initally revieved it about a year or so ago I'll put the link here ---->  Lucky 107 YouTube Review.

    However I placed a new order and got a sample of the Nightmare Before Christmas Collection to reswatch and re-evaluate. Anyone who knows me knows one of my all time top 10 movies is the Nightmare before Christmas . I only got the shadows from the collection so I cannot comment on the rest of the collection (lippys and glitter mixes please see Youtube review if interested in those)

    If you are after the full sized collection you can purchase it for $50 USD or for all 6 shadow samples it costs $9 USD. I recieved the items between 3 and 4 weeks from date of purchase which is pretty good for international shipping.

    Most of the colours are pigmented the weakest being Sandy Claws to get the colour in the swatch was 3 layers to build it up and as you can see on the it is slightly patchy in places, however the other 5 shades are quite pigmented. All the shadows are smooth and dont feel gritty. These shades have a lot of glitter so these shadows preform best over a sticky base such as Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy.

    Swatches what you all have come to see!

    Zero
    Lucky 107 description - a low sheen white with red duochrome & glitter
    My Description - A off white Satin with a pink duo-chrome & slight glitter

    A Review - Brazen Cosmetics Brow Powder

    House Keeping – all products below have been purchased with my own money unless other wise stated and I am not in any way shape or form getting paid for this review. All opinions are my own!!!

    Please Click on the photos to see an enlarged picture =)

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~{@
    Hello Ya'll
    soo here is another review this time on my fave indy brow powders. Brazen Cosmetics Brow Powders come in a veriaty of colours from blonde to redhead to a blue-black!! as some of you would know for the last 6 months or so i have been rocking little mermaid red hair and my brows were a nice dark brown sooo I went on the hunt for the perfect colour i ordered 2 mini's in 3g jars in the brightest red Brazen had avaiable. When i got my order the lovely owner sent me a third mini jar i ordered Jessica and Clara and recieved Joan as a gift.
    The pricing is as follows for a sample 3g jar it costs $4.25 USD for a full sized 5g jar $9.99 USD and for a professional 10g jar it costs $14.99. In my opinion the 3g jar lasts FOREVER! I've had mine a good 3 months and  use mine everyday (sometimes twice a day) and there is still 3/4's left in the jar!!!
    So as you can see the shades DO vary to apply I use a brow PENCIL first and then taking an angled brush I add the powder over the top of the pencil. I found that the waxy pencil helped the colour to adhear better and be more vibrant however the powders DO work very well on their own.
    I've swatched the brow powders over a brow wax from a kit I have and bare skin so you can see the difference. All photography is taken indoorrs with a flash (as the weather is horrible at the moment rain and wind!)
    Joan
    Brazen Description - medium orange/ red-brown
    Final thoughts: This is my fave brow powder its pigmented, and long wearing. However I DO recommend using a waxy base first for better staying power I found that worked best for me. for first times it CAN be a little hard to work with but well worth the effort.
