Hello Beautiful People

I am BACK yes BACK and today we are going to look at some BEAUTIFUL lashes from Ardell. These lashes were sent to me by Her Fashion Box to play with I was NOT asked to review these lashes but I love them so much I had to blog!

I was sent the Ardell Colour impact Demi Wispies in 'blue' for brown eyes. The theory behind these lashes is the subtle colour in the lashes will enhance your natural eye colour, I PERSONALLY don't feel that the blue enhanced my brown eyes AT all. The slight blue tint did make for a nice focus point without the look becoming Halloween-ish.

I am a huge fan of the Ardell Demi Whispies I think they look very natural and soft creating a flawless finish (they are 1 of my TOP lashes to wear I actually just bought another 3 sets).

I chose a very neutral soft pink/brown look to really allow the lashes to pop. You will see in the product photos the lashes appear very very blue I was a little worried I was going to look like I was wearing special effect lashes however that was DEFFINETLY not the effect. The band on these lashes is flexible, thin and clear allowing it to blend into the lash line with ease.

Price point in Australia Ardell retail between $14 AUD and $16 AUD for this particular style, around the average price for false lashes in Australia. Remember if you look after your lashes you can get 6 or so uses for each pair ;)

 Have you tried coloured lashes? If so what brand and what did you think of them?

I L-O-V-E these lashes again big big thank you to Her Fashion Box for sending me these lashes! I got so many compliments while wearing them in this look <3

Packaging: 4/5

Colour Impact: 2/5

Flexibility: 5/5

Final thoughts: Over all these are comfortable to wear once on nil irritation the band rests comfortable, is flexible making application easier, the lashes provide a even natural look, I don't think it enhances the colour of my eyes however it creates a beautiful effect. I will repurchase this item.

Hey Beautiful People
This was another HARD look how does one wear RED everywhere again I slinked to the bowels of my makeup draw and pulled out a few not used items  if you wanted this a little more toned down you could apply a deep plummy shade in the crease for depth

Hey Beautiful People
So day 4 was a bit tricky I wanted to do something different compared to other pop of colour looks I have done. So hunting through my makeup draws I found my poor neglected MUFE Flash palette and the idea for this look hit me I hope you like it. I will say if you choose to recreate this look using the SAME products PRESS your eye shadow VERY VERY well into the base!

Lets get back to Blogging!!!

Hey Beautiful People

So firstly I just want to apologise for the lack of posts I know its not a excuse but I totally lost motivation and drive!!! but I am here to get back into blogging with a passion I have a bunch of new reviews lined up as well as some fun tips, about me's and more coming to a screen near you ;)

I am drawing some quick draw inspiration from random make up challenges I am not doing a every day one just sporatic posts semi beauty/personal I hope you enjoy it

Here is todays question/topic also please feel free to ask questions for me to answer in the comments below =)

"When Did you Start Putting on Makeup"

Well as most girls do I would play in my mum's makeup bag when she was getting ready if I was good she might have put on a 'swipe' of blush or a dab of lippy but I first started using make up (buying and using it myself) when I was about 12-13 years old I started boarding school when I turned 12 (year 8 in Australia) and my boarding school was co-ed year 8 to 12 (Australian school system) so I was surrounded by older girls who would use makeup.

Being in that environment I was exposed to a lot of different styles ect I remember I started to wear a tinted moisturiser (the name escapes me) 2 shadow brush, 1 blush brush  and 1 palette from Australis (a combo blush, powder, mascara, lip gloss, shadows ect) I would go to school with 1 colour shadow on my lids no primer!!! I remember my makeup being all smeared between recess and lunch!!

I remember my teacher would always tell me off in the morning (teacher in bold)
"channy whats school makeup policy"
"ummm no makeup"
"whats on your face"
"makeup?"
"*sigh* don't wear it tomorrow!!"
"...."

Those were the days ;) Clearly my obsession has grown into a passion I even remember ripping pages out of my dolly and girlfriend magazines with pretty makeup look or tips so I could try and learn them haha I had a huge folder full of them =p

so here is my question  to you all... When did YOU start wearing makeup?

Photo Tutorial - Bold colour

Hello Beautiful People

I'm BACK yay and I am here today to share with you a photo tutorial. This is the second photo tutorial I have done so please be kind haha. I used all Tick Tock products for this look so I hope you enjoy I asked my fellow TTC models what I should do for this look and they said BRIGHT so I picked some of my brightest shades

miss you all I am going to work my butt off to get this blog and my youtube channel back in full swing... On to the tutorial.....

(click on the photos to enlarge)

Step 1) gather all your products and tools!

Step 2) Start with a clean eye lid!

Step 3) Prime your eyes I'm using Tick Tock Cosmetics Prime of the times over the whole lid upto the brow bone.

Step 4) Apply a White base I'm using Tick Tock Cosmetics IESB in Milky way up to the crease and blend out.

Step 5) Apply Fryinnae Pixie Epoxy over the whole lid area.

Step  6) Using a flat synthetic brush pat TTC Abby Rose onto the inner 1/3 of your lid.

Step 7) Wipe the Flat brush onto a tissue to take excess colour off apply TTC The Night Bus to the middle 1/3 of lid over lapping Abby Rose slightly.

Step 8) Taking a clean Synthetic brush apply TTC Once in a Blue Moon to outter 1/3 of lid over lapping The Night Bus Slightly . Take a large fluffy brush and gently blend all 3 colours together using a windscreen wiper motion to defuse any harsh lines.

Step 9) Grabbing a blending brush take a little Once in a Blue Moon and blend it into the crease and outter V right down to into the inner crease using the same windscreen wiper motion

Step 10) Grab your favourite highlight colour I'm using MAC Orb shadow and a clean fluffy brush bending Orb onto the brow bone and down slightly defusing Once in a Blue Moon leaving no harsh lines!

Step 11) Taking the same flat brush apply Once in a Blue Moon to your lower lash line 2/3's of the way in

Step 12) Using a small angled brush apply TTC Pocket Watch to the inner 1/3 of your lower lash line and inner corner

Step 13) Apply black liquid liner and Mascara then taking the Milani liquid eye liner in 04 Aqua to your water line.

Step 14) I added this at the last second haha take TTC Midlife Crisis and using the same blending brush apply it into the crease using the Windscreen wiper motion creating a cut crease effect

ANNNND we are DONE!!

What did you guys think do you enjoy photo tutorial, anything you think I could improve on? let me know in the comments below

A Review - ELF Cream Liner in Copper

House Keeping – all products below have been purchased with my own money and I am not in any way shape or form getting paid for this review. All opinions are my own!!!

Please Click on the photos to see an enlarged picture =)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~{@
Hey Beautiful People
Lets talk liners... in particular affordable cream liners, today we are going to look at ELF Cream liner. I got this baby from ELF.com.au and it cost around $6 AUD for 0.17oz of product. It arrived quickly through Australian Post so I was very pleased about that the liner itself was well packaged it did included a angled liner brush. However I found the brush was too thick in my opinion so I opted to use one of my liner brushes.
In terms of application it applyed smoothly it didnt tug on my lid. The liner was slightly patchy and did required 2 layers to cover up gaps and to make the colour POP. The liner was fairly waterproof I ran the swatch under water and it didnt budge with some gentle scrubbing it did become patchy. As for wear time I was able to get around 6 hrs with no issues.
The colour is a nice  warm bronze I wouldnt call it a 'copper tone' though the red/orange hues of copper were not there as you would see in the swatch below.
My biggest issue with this liner is that it dried out about 3 weeks after I got it! I has that lid screwed on tight as I am totally OCD about screwing those suckers on. I also ALWAY store my liners upside down so they are all stored correctly, anddd yeah it dried out so I was very disapointed about that.
Over all I DONT think I will re-purchase any more of the ELF cream liners as this one dried out so quickly and didnt last a full 8 hrs which is what i look for in products as that is the minimum shift work I do.
Whats your fave cream liner?
Final thoughts: For the price this liner is faily good it DOSE require a couple of layers to make it opaque, The wear time it fairly good I got a good 6 hrs with no wear or 'cracking'. My biggest down side was that even though I stored this correctly (lid tight upside down) this dried out in about 3 weeks and i only used it 4-5 times =/
