A Review - Urban Decay Super-Saturated Lip Colour in Crush

Hey Beautiful People

I got this Super Saturated lip colour In Crush in the mail a few weeks ago and I've fallen in love, Sadly for most international ladies and gents Urban Decay is not available However the answer to our dilemma is a little UK company called beautybay.com they have a range of products not avaiable out of the USA or the UK and the shipping is free world wide for one lip colour it is $21.01 AUS which is very similar to the USA prices. Beauty bay ship quickly well i normally recieve an order withing 2-3 weeks.

Crush is a beautiful in-your-face Pink it applys smoothly and is very pigmented, during application there is minimal tugging. For the formula its self it is very hydrating my lips did not feel dry and i was left with a pretty shine. There is a faint hint of scent I cant pick it quite it smells slightly sweet I want to say a hint of vanilla?

The downside to this amazing product is that its not a twist up product so when you run out you have to sharpen. which isnt a issue if you have a sharpener near by however i dont keep one on hand most of the time haha.

This product can stand a reasonable about of heat I kept it in my pocket while at work for touch ups the formula didnt go 'gooey' which is a bonus. Would i recomment this product a big YES i cant wait to get my hands on more as I do I will be sure to blog about them ;)

Final thoughts: This is a great product easy to re-apply and carry around the not so great things is because its a pencil you only have limited prodcut avaiable (well unless you carry around a sharpener) overal highly pigmented with lasting power.

Hey Ya'll

The next time you hear from me I will be sipping Cocktails poolside on a cruise ship EEP =0! but between packing, washing, cleaning and general life I HAD to bang out this blog post haha.

Today we are going to look at Tick Tock Cosmetics newest lipgloss its not avaiable YET but rest assured it IS on its way! as many of you would know by now (?maybe not?) but I am an Official Tick Tock Model and as such every now and again recieve a new unreleased item to review and/or test out for the owners this is such a product! So details Made in the 80's comes in a 8mL wand tube and retails at $6.95 USD, this gloss is a 2-in-1 kind of product initially you get the gloss colour and after wear ect it leaves a bright pink stain which extends the colours life.

This colour however while a bright purple in the tube seems to colour morph depending on the individuals personal lip pigmentation on my self indoors it is a pretty purple-ly pink, in sunlight it is a different story it becomes fuchsia pink with a hint of purple.

Tick Tock Description - a super bright, in your face purple with aqua sparkles. Even after the gloss wears off, you're left with a bright pink stain.
My Description - In tube a bright purple with generous aqua glitter, on ME in direct sunlight a bright fuchsia pink with a hint of purple and aqua glitter which fades to a pretty medium pink stain.

As mentioned above this is un-released and I haven't been given a launch time but I will most deffiently keep ya'll updated =)

Another Bonus feature of this gloss is the Aqua Glitter.... Glitter I hear you ask? well yes glitter or more so the COLOUR blue shades on lips help to 'whiten' your teeth!!! but it does so in a subtle way.

Would I re-purchase this colour? yes I would it is smooth to apply dose not feel gritty the stain is pretty and lasts a reasonable amount of time I can see this tube lasting a long time and I LOVE the face that the TTC girls have switched to Wand tubes for the glosses or this colour would deff be a hard to use colour as you would continually stain your fingers!

Final thoughts: This is my favrouite lip gloss that TTC has put out i love that fact its 2-in-1 I LOVE to get bang for my buck I recommend layering the product rather then putting a heavy layer on first or it can get a little messy and will stain around your mouth.

Hello again Ya'll

So as you all would know the Halloween season is upon us and ya'll know what that means the Indy world is going mad getting all the seasonal collections out. A few days ago I got my Tick Tock Cosmetics (TTC) Halloween Collection luckly the weather has been kind and has been sunny (unlike right now as i am writing this the rain is pouring) this collection is one of the best TTC has put out!

This collection is avaiable now inthe TTC store and is selling for $25 USD for the 4 shadows and 1 lip gloss, However if your not interested in the collection as a whole the entire collection is avaiable for individual sale, the collection comes in 5 gram jars and are very pigmented and smooth to use, the Lip gloss contains 8 mLs of product.

I am also going to review 2 unreleased colours I recieved as samples.

The Collection arrived in a cute Halloween themed bag.

 

The shadows are as with all TTC colours Time related with a Halloween twist in my order i also got 2 samples of unreleased colours Sequal and Age of Dragons which I have also included in this post.

 



So onto the swatches I'll do the samples first shall we? OK so I have NO official TTC description so here we go

Sequal
My Description - A sand/peach colour with a Lavender blue Duo-chrome

Age Of Dragons
My Description - A red/brown shade with a green duo-chrome (this shade reminds me of MAC Blue Brown Pigment but its better)

 

Andd now onto  the colour descriptions

Deadly Nightshade
Tick Tock Discription - Inspired by Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, Deadly Nightshade is a bright violet base exploding with golden sparkle and shift
My Discription - A medium purple with gold glitter and a strong gold duo-chrome

Friday the 13th
Tick Tock Description -Friday the 13th is a bright medium coppery, golden orange with a fiery red shift and a splattering of color shifting green/gold sparkle
My Discription - A Golden Copper orange with gold sparkle and a gold shift

Witching Hour
Tick Tock Discription - A deep, blue leaning, forest green with slight blue shimmer and aqua/violet color shifting sparkle.
My Description - A forest green with blue glitter and a slight blue shift

Never Sleep Again
Tick Tock Description - Inspired by Nightmare on Elm Street, Never Sleep Again is a bright medium rose base that lights up with a green shift and rosy sparkle.
My Description - A Antique rose satin with a gold/green duo-chrome

 

 

 

 

 

Finally onto the Lip Gloss

Creatures of the Night
Tick Tock Description - Creatures of the Night is a gorgeous, opaque black with red and holographic sparkle! We've had trouble taking a photo that really does the sparkle in this justice, but it is absolutely gorgeous!
My Description - A Opaque Black with multi coloured sparkle.

 

 

I love this collection my favrouite shadow is Deadly Nightshade its a BEAUTIFUL purple and the duo-chrome makes it very versitile in looks I am also a fan of Never Sleep Again for the same reason. the Lip goss i found applied best ewith a lip brush for me personally the gloss isnt sticky and didnt dryout my lips, and so you can get an idea of how the colours look on the here is a look used all 4 of the eye shadows =)

Final thoughts: The Shadows are very pigmented and very smooth to work with, the colours are complex and work harmoniously, the gloss IS best applied with a lip brush the TAT was well within the time frame international shipping fast, and all products are 100% cruelty free!

OK so here is another product review on the Tick Tock glosses  Honeymoon annnd Friday I’m in love =)

I ordered these a while ago these glosses retail at $5.95 USD. TT:C are an American based Indy brand but will ship internationally for $4.00 USD. The webpage doesn’t list how many mL per tube and the labelling doesn’t either but i talked to the TT:C owners and they have let me know each tube holds around 10mL of product.

Now onto the fun stuff ;) glosses

Friaday I’m In Love (FIIL)

Official description - Friday I'm In Love is a bright, but sheer pink semi sticky gloss with a strong aqua shift, and pink and purple glitters. Peppermint flavored.

My description – a Cotton candy Pink with glitters slight blue shift but not enough to change colour completely slightly sticky formula especially when applied to med/full coverage Peppermint flavored.

General thoughts – I really like this gloss applied sheer over a bright pink lipstick although it most definitely is a colour you can wear on its own the advantage of FIIL is that with its blue shift is that it will actually BRIGHTEN you teeth a little as Blue cancels out yellow great for close up photos =)

Honeymoon

Official description - Honeymoon is a sheer, shimmery gloss, loaded with sparkle and a slight red/purple shift.

My Description – A extremely faint ‘pearl’ colour with loads and loads of glitter and shimmer.

General Thought – this is my favourite of the two glosses this is a great colour to apply over lipsticks or stains to give your lips a glossy/sparkle look best applied as a thin coat. As to the red/purple shift in the TT:C description I don’t see it I’ve looked in natural and indoor lighting to me there is no colour shift.

So recommendations I LOVE both colours however if you ARE only wanting to purchase one I would defiantly recommended Honeymoon it’s a extremely versatile colour that can alter the look of other lipsticks/stains =)

Final thoughts: Overall the Glosses are very versatile both can be worn alone or on top of other lip colours, they CAN be sticky if applied heavily but otherwise are very workable squeezey tube makes for easy application the products are pigmented and you definitely get the bang for your bug the product size if very generous
