Madd Style Cosmetics - swatches

Hey all,

So back again with another review this time its Madd Styles Cosmetics (MSC). I have been a MSC fan for a while now and am here today to review 4 of their newer colours

Disclaimer: all products were purchased with my OWN money all opinions are my own and I am 100% honest.
MSC = Madd Style Cosmetics
MAB - Mad bout Beauty
~~~~~{@
MSC - CANDY FLOSS is a beautiful shimmery pink with coral undertones.
MAB – CANDY FLOSS – a warm bright shimmery pink, peachy/coral undertone over the White base you it looks more like a solid warm pink. But swatched over black the coral/peach colour really comes through.
MSC - CUDDLEFISH is pretty mauve color with pink and aqua sparkle.
MAB – CUDDLEFISH – a dusky lavender colour with Aqua sparkle over white Cuddlefish takes on a darker purple colour more violet but over the back it takes on a stunning lavender hue it also looks like it has a slight blue duo chrome but that is most likely from the glitter
MSC - SUCKER PUNCH is a vibrant kelly green with green sparkle.
MAB – SUCKER PUNCH – to me appears to be a more dark Kelly green still pretty this colour is very opaque over a white base it becomes a more satin finish while over a black base appears more sheer and ‘sparkly’ as the glitter is more clear
MSC – SOUL DUST is a beautiful light blue with a slight red sheen and red/pink/silver sparkle.
Let your soul glow!
MAB – SOUL DUST – I must say out of the lot Soul Dust is my fave I love how this colour can ‘boggle’ the mind it’s a beautiful sky blue in the jar over a white base the Sky blue is very true looking slightly like a satin finish however swatch over a BLACK base a the red shift pops I cant see any glitter in this but it is most defiantly an amazing duo chrome.
Tick Tock Cosmetics IESB - Milky Way Primer Vs UDPP Primer
Hey all
Sooo I have been asked a lot about eye primer Vs Bases and what I personally use. Firstly I feel the need to outline the basic difference between eye primer and a coloured base. (NOTE: these are my own opinions your own exp may be different to my own)
Eye Primer – Is a product which places a layer between the eye lid and shadows to help prevent creasing VITAL for people with oily lids (like me) Eye Primer can also boots eye shadow colour.
Coloured Base – are a cream coloured product which ranges from white to black and everything in between, GENERALLY coloured bases will crease if they are worn by themselves (the only expetion would be for people with REALLY dry eyelids) but Coloured bases generally hold up well over a primer.
OK so now that’s all done I PERSONALLY have mega-super oily lids and I NEED primer to live (well at lease look pretty haha) I use Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original and THEN put my coloured base on top. But for the sake of this experiment I have UDPP on my LEFT eye only (with Tick Tock Infinity Eye Shadow base in Milky way on top) on my RIGHT eye I have NO primer JUST Tick Tock Infinity Eye Shadow base in Milky way. I have put Tick Tock Cosmetics shadow in Eleventh Hour over both lids (over a thin layer of Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy). The rest of my makeup routine was kept the same on BOTH sides.
You will have to excuse the difference in pictures I had to work today and my normal camera is HUGE so I used my little going out camera. PLEASE feel free to click on the pic to enlarge it =)
So this first photo was taken at 9am Saturday 21/7/12 taken with a flash indoors =)
This Pic was taken at 10:00 am as you can see no signs of creasing yet *fist pump*
This Photo was taken at 11:00 Am there is on the NON-primer side a TINY little but of crease on the inner corner but sometimes that happens to me even WITH a primer.
These photo was taken at 1300 (or 1pm) (I was heading to work I’m a nurse) as you can see there is no additional creasing to the inner corner  =) however slight creasing noted in the outter V area =/ (not very noticeable however unless you are looking for it)
Att 1500 (3pm) as you can see there are some slightly more fine creasing happening on the inner corner of the TT:C only side.
1800 (6pm) the UDPP side has stayed relatively the same not many changes at this time, the TT:C side now has more creasing on the inner corner, which is more noticeable becoming patchy in some areas extending towards the middle of the lid, some further creasing in outer V.
2030 (orr 8:30 pm) sooo this isn’t a photo as I was too busy however I did steal a second to look in a mirror so on the UDPP side I can see some MINOR creasing on the TT:C only side I see further inner corner (now larger then my pinkie finger (less than 1cm) and outer V creasing.
OK so LASTTTTT photo this was taken after I finished work at 2230 (10:30pm) as you can see on the Base only side these is a lot of creasing and patchy-ness focusing mainly on the inner corner however it DOES extend though the entire lid compared to the UDPP + TT:C Base which only has minor creasing which you would expect after 13+ hrs.
Conclusion
Soo I was actually REALLY impressed I didn’t think that the Base only eye would actually last as long as it has (due to my redonklusly oily lids) I think that Tick Tock Infinity Eye Shadow Base in Milky way REALLY stood up well against a ‘brand name’ product over 13 hrs and that was ALL the creaseing (8 hrs before any real creasing occured) I did not touch up or TOUCH my eyes at all I would most DEFF recommend this product to any and all make up lovers =) I will do a similar test with TT:C IESB in Black hole another time =) over all i am SUPER stoaked TT:C stood strong against my oily lids which hate everything so happy u all NEEEED to try it out and it costs less then $5 per jar a BARGING hurry up and get yours
xoxo
A Review - De lorenzo novafusion in FIRE RED =)
Hey guys here is a review on the Colour Shampoo that i use =) i have had a few questions about what i actually use in my hair so here we go =)
as you would see in the photo above i am CLEARLY not a natural red head however i love it and maintain it =p
I found this little Gem in the Hairhouse Warehouse (an austraian Store) I am pretty sure its not available internationally however with the increase in online buying I wouldn’t be surprised =p
For a 250 mL bottle (of  Fire Red) I paid $25 which is a BARGIN, this product is a thick shampoo which will deposit colour BACK into your hair so it will keep colour fresher for longer. I shampoo my hair and leave it in for 5 minutes before washing it out. WARNING this product DOES have the potential to STAIN hands and showers (grout mainly) and it WILL stain towels and clothing. I generally use 2-3 pumps per wash, some people don’t like colour depositing shampoos as it CAN leave a residue though with this product I don’t find that myself. According t0 the site
Novafusion colour care Shampoo is formulated with UV inhibitors
to enhance your natural or professional colour, control colour fade
or reduce unwanted brassy tones. Novafusion contains native
plant extracts including Kakadu Plum and Rooibos, Birch
and Willowbark extracts for soft, shiny hair. Available in
14 different colour shampoos
Another bonus about this product is that it’s Cruelty free and 100% Australian owned and made =) from the sounds of their web site this product is ALSO Vegan (as I am not 100% up with that so DEFF check before you buy if your vegan). Using this Shampoo I extend my colour by at least 3 weeks I generally only have to re colour my hair due to regrowth rather then loss of colour =)
Geek Chic Cosmetics - Wuv Twue Wuv Solid Scent
Hey All,
so I am back today with a mini review =) I got some Geek Chic Cosmetics (GCC for short) mail with some perfumes =) I ordered 3 solid scents and am doing a mini review on each after testing ect =)
Today I bring you Wuv Twue Wuv according to GCC this scent is
This scent evokes visions of springtime and the summer love that follows. Freesias, frangipanis and plumerias sprout from under raspberry roots, breathing the citrus-laden air of melons, cherries, apples and pears.
For me PERSONALLY while I do like this scent I find it is more Melon scented them anything else. it is a nice scent for an everyday use I find I generally get about a good 4 hrs scent time by applying it to my pulse points (wrists, elbows, behind the ears, back of knees) its light and not over powering.
When it comes to packaging it is a solid perfume in a tube which twists up, in my Opinion it’s not a Greasy formula I get no staining on clothing or fabrics. And it great I do not need to apply with my fingers =) NOTE: if left in heated areas (eg pockets, cars ect) the product WILL melt)
Over all I would recommend this Solid scent to anyone after a fun summer fresh scent =)
Nowww the nity grity this scent retails at UDS $3.49 with .07 oz of product i have used min almost every day for 9 days and still have LOADS of product =)
 NOTE: also a bonus GCC is having a mini sale 25% off yay
also in the photos are the other 2 scents =)
And YES they Ship internationally =)
Final thoughts: the only reason the scent score is average is because I can’t REALLY smell the other fragrances (nor can my sister and Boyfriend) however in saying that it is a NICE melon smell, I love how its packaged as I can keep it in my purse and apply as needed no large bottles or pans I need to use my fingers to apply =)
