NOTE PHOTO HEAVY BLOG POST!!!!!

Hey Ya'll

Today we are going to look at one of my all time favourite beauty products.... GLITTER!!! Yep you heard me haha so recently  Madd Style Cosmetics (MSC) released their own web store and a tonne of new products including 9 glitter vials commonly known as Glitter Bombs. These cute glitters are packaged in 1/2 Dram bottles with screw tops (and arrive sealed in a small zip bag, and wrapped in bubble-wrap for proper shipping) these baby's cost $4.50 USD each + S&H.

Now I can almost hear some of you go 'WHAT that's so SMALL' but rest assured I PROMISE there is a BUTT TONNE of glitter packed into that cute Dram. Don't believe me take a look for your self!

This is Gold Digger Glitter decanted into a 3g jar that is FULL to the brim so PLENTY of glitter there =) when you get your vial it MAY look a little less full then the photos but that's just due to the glitter settling if you shake it a little your vial will magically refill it's self (well not really but how cool would that be? never ending glitter!! Now lets be serious for a moment once you get to the swatch pics you'll see that the Dram vials have a small opening which IS to small to get a brush in. You could get a VERY fine liner brush in so you will need a cleanable surface ef plate or palette ect to tap a little out or you could do like I did on the above photo and decant into a small Jar. If you chose the Jar option the SMALLEST you can get to fit it all in is a 3g jar.

As with all MSC stuff 100% Vegan and Cruelty-free. Glitter Bombs are 100% cosmetic grade glitter and is safe to use on Eyes, Lips and Face (NOTE this is the LARGEST cut of glitter safe for eye area)
Ingredients: .008 cosmetic grade micro-glitter.

Now to be honest with you all while I WAS excited to get these the vial photos made them appear 1 dimensioned (I SHOULD have known better Forgive me Mo?) however once me and my little swatching brush got onto it the amazing blend of glitters could really be seen =) all Glitters have been swatched on a bare are with Lit Glitter Glue

 OK so lets get onto the phots =) I am trialing some new ways to show my swatches/photographs ect any and all feedback is aprecialted

Sea Siren  and Foxy lady are also must haves =) I cant find anything by itself in my glitter stash that are similar if I mixed glitters I most likely could make something similar but why do it when I have these prettys =)

Final thoughts:  Everyone knows I am a Glitter freak! the web site doesn't do these colours Justice the glitters are much more complex then their vial photos show. In terms of packaging if you dont want to tap out some glitter each time you use them I recommend buying some plastic jars or baggies and decanting into them. Overall I love all the glitters they apply best using a glitter base like Lit Glitter Glue ot Eye Kandy Liquid Sugar to really adhear to the lid or area you are placing the glitter.

Hey Ya'll

Lets talk holiday collections shall we? today we are going to look at the Chinovi Cosmetics Holiday 2012 LE collection. Vanessa the owner took insperation from a faverouite Chiristmas carol 'O Christmas Tree' and a personal love of decorating, so the collection is centered around things you will find on (most) trees. One of the things I love about Chinoiv is the little touches the lables are supercute and I ADORE that Vanessa puts wether a product is vegan and or lipsafe while I personally am not Vegan I have friends who are it makes shopping for gifts so much easier!

As with all Chinovi collections the lable reflects the theme for this collection the lable has a cute little christmas tree. When ordering you have 4 options all in USD value ~ Sample bag - $1.00, Clamshell -$1.25, Full Size Jar w/out sifter - $4.75 and Full Size Jar W/ Sifter - $5.00
Sample Bags and Clamshells look to have about 1/4 tsp of product good for quite a few uses. Full Sized jars average around 1.2 g of product

This Collection I feel is very well rounded in terms of colours, the pigments are smooth and blend well, while they are full of sparkle they dont feel gritty on the eyes.

Now as its the holidays I am including a small giveaway the winner will get 1x full SAMPLE baggie Holiday 2012 collection =) Open internationally good luck =) now lets get onto colour descriptions =)

Final thoughts: Colours very pigmented, smooth to apply sample sizes are good, all items were sent out well within the TAT, and arrived in Australia within around 2-3 weeks. I especially like how each colour has individual ingredients and state whether the colour is vegan and/or lip safe. I will definitely be re-purchasing from Chinovi again.

A Review - Femme Fatale Cosmetics Gemstone Collection

House Keeping – all products below have been purchased with my own money and I am not in any way shape or form getting paid for this review. All opinions are my own!!!

Hey Ya'll

Today on our busy schedule we have Femme Fatale Cosmetics (FFC) and I will be chatting with you about the Gemstone collection. The Gemstone Collection are a set of 8 amazing duo –  chrome shades that are white based pigments that have a pretty duo - chrome.

Onto pricing for a 5g jar (no sifter) costs $5.75 AUS, the 3g jar has the option of sifter or no sifter for a slight change in price 3g w/ sifter $3.10 AUS and 3g no sifter $3.00 AUS, Sample baggies are $1.00 each. Postage varies depending on the postal method.

Depending on the angle you look at the pigments take on a different appearence, these shades are great to use as a inner-corner highlight as they are quiet soft over base skin or as a soft highlight. However if you really want these colours to stand out they work amazing over a black base as you will see in the photos below. The colours are not easy to photograph but I feel i managed to capture them =)

Colour Descriptions

Golden Peridot
FFC - It is a translucent white with a beautiful lime green shimmer and sparkles
My Description - A soft white base with a light yellow based lime duo-chrome.

Fire Opal

My Description - A soft white base with a bronze/copper duo-chrome.

Icemist Diamond
FFC - It is a soft translucent white highlighted by a stunning aqua shift and sparks
My Description -  A soft white base with a Aquamarine blue duo-chrome.

Twilight Amethyst
FFC - It is a translucent white with a fabulous purple shift and sparkles
My Description -.  A soft white base with a Violet/lavender duo-chrome

Emerald Glow
FFC -  It is a sheer white complimented by an emerald green shift and green sparkles
My Description - A soft white base with a light emerald green duo-chrome

Moonstone
FFC - It is a sheer white shade with a soft blue duochrome shine and sparkles
My Description -  A soft white base with a cornflower blue duo-chrome

Star Ruby
FFC - It is a translucent white with stunning pink/red shift and sparkles.
My Description -  A soft white base with a red duo-chrome

Sun Crystal
FFC - It is a sheer soft-white base with striking golden shimmer and sparks
My Description -  A soft white base with a yellow/light gold duo-chrome.

As you can see these are definetly not opaque shades however they can be layered over other colour to creat complex and individual looks. In terms of must haves I recommend Moonstone, Golden Peridot  and Twilight I adore their finishes fantastic for innercorner or as a lower lash colour.

What do you think of white base duo-chromes?

 Hey Ya'll

Lets take a look a Geek Chic Cosmetics Joy Stick in Hipster Ariel today shall we? great idea ^_^
OK so lets talk lippys first now I KNOW we ALL own at least one pink,red,orange and nude lippy but not many of us wear bright lippys it seems to be a status quo thing which sucks coz Hipster Ariel is an AMAZING opaque metallic blue lipstick. For being a bold colour Hipster Ariel is not drying on the lip as it has moisturizing Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E in its formula, the Joystick is also mint flavoured which I personally find nice =)

The overall shape of the joystick isnt ideal for a perfect application in my opinion Hipster ariel is BEST applied with a lip brush (whick i have done in the lip swatches below). If you like Hipster Ariel you can purchase it on the Geek Chic Cosmetics webstore for $5.99 USD.

Product description
GCC Description - A rich, opaque, pearlescent teal.

Final thoughts:  Hipster Ariel is a opaque metallic blue shade which applys smoothly i find best applied with a lip brush to get into the fine lines on the lips. This shade will wear quite quickly if you eat and drink.

A Review - MAC Chromaline Landscape Green

House Keeping – all products below have been purchased with my own money and I am not in any way shape or form getting paid for this review. All opinions are my own!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~{@
Hey Ya'll
So on my last trip to the City one of our shopping malls had JUST opened a official MAC PRO store and there I found this little gem MAC Chromaline in Landscape green which is a bright kelly green colour. Now for those of you who don't know what a Chromaline is well MAC have described it as a gel/cream liner, HOWEVER if you read the 2 pg leaflet included in the box you will see that Landscape Green is ACTUALLY not lip or eye safe (it appears MAC intended the chromalines to be dense body paint) so what to do with this item. Well before i actually READ the flyer I used Landscape green as a eyeshadow base.
Now I'm not telling you that MAC are wrong and this is eye safe however on ME I haven't suffered ANY ill effects or staining from using this on my lids. Some of the main concerns for using Landscape green on the lids is the possibility of  staining or irritation from dyes (like red dyes).
This product is very smooth and pigmented, best applied with a finger and blended out however it would also be a good bodypaint for small areas. Chromalines retail at $35AUS and are only avaiable at a MAC Pro store
So have you ever used a product for something other then its intended use?
Xoxo
Where To By – I believe this is only available at a MAC PRO store as my MAC counter didnt have it
Texture: 10/10
Longevity: 9/10
Application: 4/5
Packaging: 4/5
Final thoughts: While this item isnt 'officially' eye safe I havent had any issues it has made a fab coloured base, it applys smoothly and evenly.
A Review - Tick Tock Cosmetics - Infinity Eyeshadow Base Super Nova + Season Finale
House Keeping – all products below have been purchased with my own money and I am not in any way shape or form getting paid for this review. All opinions are my own!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~{@

Hey Ya'll

Yet another review haha i really need to post more LOTD/EOTD/OOTD's haha =p please let me know if there is anything you would like me to do/review ect the same goes for my YouTube Channel =)

Today we are going to look at the latest Tick Tock Cosmetics Infinity Eye Shadow Base (IESB) in Super Nova and a sample of a New release Season Finale. The bonus for all you out there in makeup land is this Tick Tock now offer samples (average of 20 uses per sample) of their 3 bases AND their 3 in 1 Primer! all at reasonable pricing so its a fantastic opertunity for you to try all 3 for the price of one =)

Onto the IESB first Super Nova is the latest in Tick Tock bases and is a nude shade which leans warm in tone. Super Nova also has a semi - glossy finish while not feeling Tachy, its opaque with one pass and the texture is very creamy. As you can see in photos below Super Nova is a darker nude colour (for refrence i am a Mac MatchMaster shade 4) however it blends out easily. For comparisons sake I swatched it next to MAC's painterly paint pot (PP) as you can see the PP is quite a few shades lighter and you can see what i mean about Super Nova's semi-glossy finish.

Now onto the Shadow Season Finale, this shade is very smooth and pigmented it prefoms best over a primer/base as you can see in the image below over bare skin it is very patchy, this swatch was achieved by one pass over.

Colour Description
Tick Tock Cosmetics - A deep, purple leaning burple.
My Desctiption - A deep grape colour with a slight blue shift

So what do you think have you tried the new TT:C base? if so thoughts XoxoC

Final thoughts:  the base is pigmented and smooth, the semi-gloss finish maybe a issue if you wish to apply a mate shade over the top (i havent attemted that at this stage), Super nova DOSE lean warmer so it may now suit cooler skin tones esp the fairer beauties. In regards to Season Finale it is pigmented and very easy to blend a good crease colour for a smokey eye.
