Hello Beautiful People

Lets look at some sugar pill shall we? please note that this blog post still has the OLD style swatches apologies I am working through my stash of swatch pictures haha.

Sugarpill is a brand most people are aware of known for bright, bold colours and some funky lashes I am particularly fond of their loose pigments so I finally ordered the last 2 needed to complete my collection!

The nitty gritty on SP they retail for $12 USD now before you have a minor heart attack keep in mind that for that cost you are getting 4.5g of product that's more then enough for you, your sister and a cousin!!! (NOTE: 4.5g by wt so sometimes the jar may look a little 'emptier' then another due to pigment settling) Each SP listing states wether the item is vegan or not which is handy for all my vegan readers both paperdoll and tiara are vegan! Both shades are very finely milled there isn't any traces of unblended micas the shades apply well and are bendable.

Each individual listing has a list of ingredients. The only negative thing I have to say is it seems like the stock photos are slightly over saturated but they arnt that far off of being accurate. Paperdoll is the shade that seems less accurate to its description to me it leans more violet which you will see in swatches below.

Tiara
Sugarpill Description - Brilliant, highly-reflective metallic silver with maximum shock value shine. The micro-fine particles are super tiny, so this looks amazing sprinkled all over as body shimmer too
My Description - A metallic silver

Paperdoll
Sugarpill Description - Lovely lavender with dazzling shimmer and sparkle.
My Description - A light violet colour with silver glitter

Would I repurchase yes I would I love Sugarpill cosmetics

What's you favourite shade in the Sugarpill collection?

Credit Rating!

Product:  9/10

Pigmentation: 10/10

Texture: 9/10

Longevity: 8/10

Application: 4/5

Packaging: 4/5

Final thoughts: Both shades are highly pigmented and very finely milled nil issues with unblended micas. Paperdoll was the most disappointing leaning more violet then lavender. The colours as with most loose pigments preform BETTER over a sticky base. Fast TAT and arrival to Australia

Hello Beautiful People

I have a review for you all today I know shock horror right? haha today we are looking at the MUA baked trio shadows in Innocent! I bought this product a while ago and kinda forgot about it. however during a huge de-stash I stumbled across it once more! Baked shadows arnt anything new many brands have been doing them for years however I am always on the look out for budget friendly products as makeup in Australia has a very high price tag.

MUA is a UK based brand they do ship world wide I believe it cost around £7 to ship this and a few other things to Australia (around $13 AUD on par with current international shipping rates) I was send shipping confirmation within 48 hrs and it arrived on my door step about 2 weeks later.

In terms of pricing this trio cost £2.50 ($4.09 AUD) and there is a wide variety of shades available. I chose this particular Trio as the first color looked like a MAC blue brown dupe and you all know I love my MAC.

In terms of pigmentation I honestly didn't enjoy this trio dry the colours were very sheer (sadly my photo didn't work and its raining here at the moment once its sunny I will snap a pic) but that can sometimes happen with backed shadows! I then swatched using a damp brush and I was blown away the pigmentation is amazing as you can see in swatches below.  Sadly a catch 22 is these weren't easy to blend wet.

These shades once dry lasted a good 8 hrs which is impressive there was SOME minor flaking however but not enough to make a huge impact,

Colour Descriptions

Top Left colour - Sadly once swatched this isn't a dupe for MAC blue brown but it is a gorgeous warm brown with a hint of green duo chrome

Top Right Colour - A cool toned almost taupe shade frost finish

Bottom Colour - A metallic ivory shade

Would I re-purchase? yes  would I love these as lid shades

Question of the day
what's you favourite baked eye shadow colour?

Final thoughts: Best used wet, for better pigmentation, however when wet not easily blendable. The shades lasted 8 hrs over a primer with minor flaking. all frost/metallic finishes.

Photo Tutorial - Bold colour

Hello Beautiful People

I'm BACK yay and I am here today to share with you a photo tutorial. This is the second photo tutorial I have done so please be kind haha. I used all Tick Tock products for this look so I hope you enjoy I asked my fellow TTC models what I should do for this look and they said BRIGHT so I picked some of my brightest shades

miss you all I am going to work my butt off to get this blog and my youtube channel back in full swing... On to the tutorial.....

(click on the photos to enlarge)

Step 1) gather all your products and tools!

Step 2) Start with a clean eye lid!

Step 3) Prime your eyes I'm using Tick Tock Cosmetics Prime of the times over the whole lid upto the brow bone.

Step 4) Apply a White base I'm using Tick Tock Cosmetics IESB in Milky way up to the crease and blend out.

Step 5) Apply Fryinnae Pixie Epoxy over the whole lid area.

Step  6) Using a flat synthetic brush pat TTC Abby Rose onto the inner 1/3 of your lid.

Step 7) Wipe the Flat brush onto a tissue to take excess colour off apply TTC The Night Bus to the middle 1/3 of lid over lapping Abby Rose slightly.

Step 8) Taking a clean Synthetic brush apply TTC Once in a Blue Moon to outter 1/3 of lid over lapping The Night Bus Slightly . Take a large fluffy brush and gently blend all 3 colours together using a windscreen wiper motion to defuse any harsh lines.

Step 9) Grabbing a blending brush take a little Once in a Blue Moon and blend it into the crease and outter V right down to into the inner crease using the same windscreen wiper motion

Step 10) Grab your favourite highlight colour I'm using MAC Orb shadow and a clean fluffy brush bending Orb onto the brow bone and down slightly defusing Once in a Blue Moon leaving no harsh lines!

Step 11) Taking the same flat brush apply Once in a Blue Moon to your lower lash line 2/3's of the way in

Step 12) Using a small angled brush apply TTC Pocket Watch to the inner 1/3 of your lower lash line and inner corner

Step 13) Apply black liquid liner and Mascara then taking the Milani liquid eye liner in 04 Aqua to your water line.

Step 14) I added this at the last second haha take TTC Midlife Crisis and using the same blending brush apply it into the crease using the Windscreen wiper motion creating a cut crease effect

ANNNND we are DONE!!
